1. Scope of Services
Consultant 2U provides professional home accessibility assessments and aging-in-place consultations
to help clients identify potential improvements to mobility, safety, and comfort within their homes.
Services may include visual assessment of the home, evaluation of potential hazards, and
recommendations for items such as grab bars, ramps, railings, lifts, and other accessibility or safety
features.
Consultant 2U does not perform or supervise any construction, installation, or repair work, nor does it
sell or supply any products or materials. Clients are responsible for hiring qualified, licensed contractors
or suppliers to perform any recommended work and for ensuring compliance with local building codes
and safety standards.
2. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The recommendations and information provided by Consultant 2U are offered in good faith based on
professional judgment and conditions observed at the time of consultation. No guarantee or warranty,
express or implied, is made as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any recommendation or
product.
Clients accept full responsibility for implementing any recommendations and for ensuring that all work
performed complies with applicable laws, codes, and safety standards. Consultant 2U shall not be liable
for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or reliance on the recommendations provided,
whether in contract, negligence, or otherwise. In any case, the total liability of Consultant 2U shall not
exceed the total fee paid for the specific consultation from which the claim arises.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of $25.00 at the discretion of Consultant 2U. If Consultant 2U must cancel or reschedule, clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of any prepaid fees.
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued within 2 business days of cancellation.
4. Client Acknowledgment
I understand that Consultant 2U provides advisory services only and does not perform or supervise
installation or construction work. I have read and understood the terms of this agreement.
